A School that was founded in 1935 became an Institution from 1936 and grew up to a group of Institutions under the aegis of Acharya Pathasala as a registered ‘Association’. The Tremendous growth of several Schools & Colleges of Acharya Pathasala and its acquisition of a sprawling campus at Somanahalli made it inevitable for the Association to be converted into a Public Trust which was registered on 16th May 1975.
Today, APS Educational Trust is an organization with 4 Schools, 5 Colleges of Arts, Science & Commerce, a Computer Centre, along with Polytechnic College. The Engineering College, Polytechnic, PU College & Sixty-year-old Rural High School are located at the Anantha Gnana Gangothri Campus in Somanahalli on Kanakapura National Highway, continuing a legacy of academic excellence, innovation, values, and holistic student development for future generations.
APS Degree College, established in 2024 at the Anantha Gnana Gangotri Campus, is committed to empowering rural youth through quality commerce education. Guided by the vision of APSET Management, the college offers a career-oriented B.Com program that blends academic excellence with practical learning, preparing students for higher education, entrepreneurship, and professional success.
With experienced faculty, modern classrooms, digital learning resources, and industry-focused training, students develop essential skills in accounting, finance, taxation, computer applications, data analysis, and communication. Beyond academics, the college promotes holistic development through NSS, industrial visits, cultural activities, sports, and community engagement. From an inaugural batch of 11 students in 2024 to a growing institution, APS Degree College continues to nurture confident, skilled, and socially responsible future business leaders.
